I really can't believe my baby girl is now a Sassy big 4 year old! Where has the time gone? The day she was born was the happiest and scariest day of our life. She is such a blessing to us and the best big sister to Jett. Presley is her daddy's girl and she is mommy's best friend. I always look back and think, What did we ever do without her? She brings so much joy into our family. Happy Birthday Presley Paige!! We love you!

For Mother's Day I thought I would take these munchkins and get some shots for their Grandma's so they could have more proof to brag about their cute grandkids. Taking 3 kids' pictures wasn't easy but Nanny and Grandma Kaye loved them so it made it all worth it.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day, I personally think it should be celebrated once a month. I'm so grateful for my mom, mother in law, grandma's, sisters, aunts, cousins and friends who are great women and great examples on what a mother should be. Being a mom to my 2 sweet babies is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. I really don't know how I got so lucky.

Presley is one LUCKY girl to go to Happy Hearts and Busy Hands PreSchool. They do so many fun activities and Miss Pateresa is the coolest teacher in town. For the Month of April they had "Kids just wanna have Fun Month".

Can I just tell you how much I adore Miss Pateresa and her preschool? Seriously I don't know how the woman does it. She is so creative and Presley is always so excited about what project they will be doing and what she will be learning. I just can't thank her enough, she really loves every one of her students!

March has been such a crazy month! Weird I know. Nothing exciting usually happens during March except my Mr's birthday :) Last March we were in Hawaii for Lindsey and Cole's wedding *sigh* one day we will go back. It all started with the Happiest Place on Earth coming here, ON ICE! My bro in law Matt works for KBULL 93 and got us VIP passes. We got to go to a fun dinner and get some goodies, not to mention meeting Mickey and Minnie and getting some shots with them and then off to the show! Isn't my little Tinker Bell so Fabulous? I think so.

Then it was my man's BIG 31ST BIRTHDAY! He is the greatest Husband and Daddy. We couldn't ask for anything more.

St Patricks day came and Presley took green cupcakes to her school party!

Ahh The Grantsville Old Folks Sociable. I haven't been in years and Nick has never been at all, so what do we do? We get on the Car Show Commitee and perform in the program. We had so much fun Practicing and performing with all of our great friends.

I know I'm horrible at blogging lately but I'll get it together. Christmas was so much fun this year. It was Jett's 1st and this was the first year that Presley got really excited. Excited? More like impatient. Poor girl. She kept telling Nick and me that she was "SICK OF WAITING FOR SANTA!" Well it finally came and the look on her face was priceless. We did all the fun family parties, baked Santa Cookies, Christmas jammies, more family parties, lots of eating, getting spoiled by our own parents, and enjoying the wonderful season.

We celebrated our 7th Anniversary today, well ok we celebrated the whole weekend. Shopping and eating is what we do best. I love this amazing man for the wonderful husband and daddy he is. I wouldn't want to be on this journey called life with anyone but him. Happy Anniversary Pratt, I love you.

Don't you just LOVE fall? I sure do. I don't know if it's the crisp air in the morning or the color of the leaves changing, but it's a season I look forward to and hate to see end. We have had so much fun this month so far. We spent Colombus Day with Grandma, Grandpa, Matt and Hillary at Gardner Village. I just adore how fabulous the village is decorated. I wish I could decorate like that. We went on the ride to a witch and ate at Archibald's. Perfect.

Then we went with Nanny and Papa down to the Benson Grist Mill Pumpkin Walk. I feel like a kid when I go there. My parents never missed a year taking us. Presley had loads of fun and the smell of kettle corn made my mouth water. Perfect.
On Sunday we went down to Aunt Janet's pumpkin patch in Grantsville. They planted a million pumpkins and we took home 8 gorgeous, orange big ones! If anyone wants some head down Cooley street for the best selection at $2 a pumpkin. You can't beat it. Aunt Jan's house is the best. I love the smell right when you walk in. It takes me back to being a little girl. Perfect.

On Sunday we blessed our little man. Nick did such an amazing job, and I'm so grateful for the priesthood he holds. We had a BBQ at our house after the meeting. Thanks to all our family and friends who came, it made it that much more special! We are thankful for our sweet baby boy and his sweet spirit. He has brought so much happiness to Nick, Presley and myself.

Today was Presley's 1st day at Happy Hearts and Busy Hands PreSchool! She was so excited that she was up at 6:45 and kept asking me "What am I gonna wear?" It was such a bittersweet morning for this mom, I was filled with EXCITEMENT knowing that she was going to have fun learning and making new friends, and a little bit of SADNESS knowing that my Princess is growing up so fast and I wish I could slow it down just a little.

Jett and Mommy didn't know what to do with ourselves during the 2 hours of PreSchool. We are so used to the ball of fire at home that we were kinda bored. I kept looking at the clock and finally when it said 10 to 11:00, I put Jetty in the Bjorn and we walked to PreSchool. When the kids came out they were all wearing these adorable red PreSchool shirts and Presley had a star necklace that said Presley had a Super Star 1st Day! She had so much fun and spent the rest of the day telling me all the fun things she learned. This week they are learing about the letter "A". She brought home an alligator that she made , and she was so excited that Miss Pateresa let her use her own glue stick, she sang me a song she learned and then they had apples for snacks! What a great 1st day!

Presley is such a DIVA! She changes her clothes, high heels, and sunglasses all day long! I told Nick the other day that her room looks like a 16 year old's because there are clothes and shoes all over her bed and floor. She is constantly asking me "What should I wear?" and "Does this match?" We even have fights at bedtime because Pres thinks she has to wear heels to bed every night! It cracks my parents up because I used to (and still do) the same thing. They always say "She's just like her Mom!" That means I'm really in for it! They other day she came strutting down the hall and yelled "Mom I'm posing!" so I had to get a picture. She is so cute and always makes my day Brighter!

We started the weekend off with a family reunion in Grantsville with my mom's side of the family. We had a great time eating, playing games, making 4th of July treat bags, and watching the outdoor movie. It's a fun tradition that we are going to continue every year! I just love getting together with my family! The next day for the 4th, we watched the parade at Lindsey and Cole's house, we always have the best seats! Then it was off to the park to watch Presley dance. She wasn't too happy at first and it took alot of convincing to get her to perform but she loved it after! I wanted to get a picture of Presley and her cute friend Bentleigh but Presley was so tired and after we left the park that she crashed! Then we went to Grandma Kayes and Papa Brads for lunch andf fireworks later that night! I was secretly wishing to have Jett on the 4th but I'll take the 8th!

WOW! Ican't believe my sweet little baby girl is a BIG 3 YEAR OLD! Where does the time go? May 29, 2006 was the best day of my life and definately the scariest! Nick and I are so thankful to have Presley in our family, and we always say we don't know what we did without her. Presley loves Tinkerbell right now so we bought every Tinkerbell decoration we could find! We had a blast BBQing and playing in the bounce house/double slide, and not to mention Mandy, who painted the cutest faces! We are so blessed to have a great family who loves Presley SO MUCH! Easter was so busy and so fun! The Saturday before Uncle Adam was the Easter Bunny at Albertsons so we paid him a visit and Presley got her picture with him! She was convinced that Uncle Adam WAS the Easter Bunny! Easter morning she was excited the see what the Easter Bunny had left for her then it was off to church in her new Easter dress. After church we went to both grandparents where she got more baskets full of goodies! We had such a fun day being with family and are very thankful to have them both so close.

Friday was the much AWAITED Hannah Montana Movie! We have had a count down going forever so Presley was so excited when it came time to go! Matt and Hillary got the opportunity to meet and interview Miley Cyrus when she made a surprised appearance to a showing in Salt Lake earlier that day. They knew how much Presley loves Hannah Montana and Miley that Matt said I could send something with them to have her sign. I bought the soundtrack and she did autograph it! Presley was so excited and we listen to the CD all day and we have seen the movie twice! She is a die hard Hannah Montana fan!

We are here! We have finally arrived in Hawaii on the island Ohau. I was really worried about the flight being 6 hours and 40 minutes, and this being only the 2nd time Presley has flown. Everything went great and Presley was an angel! She slept the first 2 hours while we watched Twilight, the men were so excited! lol Anyways I am grateful we are here and excited to see the island and to see my sister Lindsey and Cole get married. I was planning on uplaoding pictures while we were here, but when we arrived I realized I had forgotten my USB cord. If I can't find one around here, I will definately post them when we get home.

The BEST Birthday and Valentine's!

I have been slacking on blogging lately but I have to blog about my birthday and Valentine's Day. It was the Best weekend ever! I recieved alot of texts and phone calls from friends and family, My grandma's came to visit, and Nick taught Presley how to say "Happy Birfday Mommy". I took the day off and Nick and I asked Pres what she wanted for lunch and she said "Go to Donalds and go on the slide!" So we went to McDonalds and she had a blast. For dinner my parents took us to my very favorite restaurant, the Thai House. It was yummy of course! Then we were off to Confessions of a Shopaholic! My mom and dad thought that was a perfect movie for MY birthday! After the movie, my mom, dad, Adam came over to our house where Nick surprised me with a Mrs Field's cookie cake! It was so sweet, I have always wanted one!
Every Saturday I make pancakes for breakfast. So since it was Valentine's Day I made heart shaped ones. Presley thought it was cute and kept telling us "You're my Balentime!"

After breakfast we headed into Salt Lake for some Shopping. Our favorite thing! Nick totally spoiled me with some Heidi Klum jewelry from Bebe and some new clothes to take to Hawaii. He's a Keeper! lol Presley also got spoiled with clothes from Baby Gap. We ended the night with the 3 of us going to dinner at ThaiFoon! We had a great day together celebrating Valentine's and how much we LOVE each other!

Then when I thought my Birthday was over, my MIL Kaye made me dinner on Sunday. The whole Pratt gang was there for the party and Kaye made lemon merange pie for dessert.It's my favorite and ever since I was married to Nick she had made it for my birthday. Thanks to my WHOLE family for the great gifts and for making my 25th birthday so special!

Yesterday Presley participated in the Dynamic Sweetheart Pageant. She had so much fun going out on stage and waving to everybody. She did so good! Alot of her little friends were in the pageant so she was excited to be there with them. Presley ended up winning the Photogenic award and 1st attendant. She loves her 2 trophy's she brought home!

We have a Heartbeat!

Last Thursday Nick and I went to my 12 week appointment and got to hear our little baby's heartbeat! I was so nervous and anxious to be able to hear it. But Dr Langeland didn't even have to search for it. Right when he turned on the dopplar, there it was! Nick quickly asked if there was only one because I had been having dreams that there were 2! There is only one and the rate is 163 (Pres was 161). Now, I know the whole heartbeat/ gender thing is an old wives tale but I totally have been feeling like we're having another girl. Maybe because I am surrounded by Princess high heels, bows, bracelets, and little girl drama all day long. Nick, however feels like this one is his boy. Whatever it is we are so blessed to be parents again, and to know that our baby has a beating heart and is getting bigger everyday! Any guesses on gender?

A Sad New Year

On New Years morning I was woke up to mom calling saying my Grandpa George had passed away. He was sick and we knew it was coming but that moment was so life changing for our family. Memories suddenly filled my head and I felt grateful to have had this man as my grandpa. He was the only Grandpa I've ever known, I will truly miss him and his jokes. I love you Grandpa George!

I thought this picture was cute. It was taken only a few months ago. Even though he was sick he still smiled. Presley loved him and he loved her!

Disneyland!

Disneyland was a Blast! The first day we got there, Nick, Presley, Me, Hillary, Matt, Grandma and Grandpa had a reservation at Ariel's Grato for lunch with the Princesses. Presley knows all their names and was so excited to go. I put her in the Snow White costume she had gotten from Nanny and Papa Todd and we were on our way! She met Ariel first, and Ariel loved her so much she kept coming over to our table to talk to Presley and dubbed her cutest little girl of the Day! Presley was in awe seeing all of the Pricesses. The rest of the trip was great, we went back and forth from Disneyland to California Adventure and to Downtown Disney. We rode all the rides we could and watched the Awesome Holiday Parade! The parked was decked out for Christmas, it was beautiful. The weather was great and we will never forget Presley's first trip to Disneyland! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Sorry I haven't posted in Forever! It's not like me to post once I upload my pics. Well we had a great Christmas Eve and Christmas. Christmas Eve with my family with a party at our house. We ate and played COMPETITIVE games of bunko and bingo. My Mom and Dad gave awesome prizes of cash for bunko and gift certificates for bingo. We had a fun night as a family quoting Christmas Vacation and laughing at my Grandma for being the bingo nazi!

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Saturday was my dad's big 50th birthday! My Mom, Dad, Me, Nick, Presley, Lindsey, Cole, and Adam all went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It's my dad and everyone else's favorite. After we ate we rode Trax to Temple Square to see the lights. The weather was great, not too cold. Everytime we get together we have a blast and just laugh the whole time! I have the best dad in the whole world! I love him so much! Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Yes! Presley is going to be a "BIG SISTER"! We are so excited. We thought it would be fun to tell everyone on Thanksgiving since we knew we couldn't keep it a secret any longer! (Nick and I have only known for a week and a half lol). I found the Big Sister shirt and thought it would be fun to have her wear it to our family's houses and see who would notice first. YES!!! Last night, Hillary, Kelli, Amber, Kaye, and I went to Twilight! We have waited so long for the movie to come out, so when tickets went on sale we bought them for the 12:35 show at Gateway! We were all decked out in our Twilight shirts, hoodies, and Cullen Crest bracelets! The movie was amazing and we had so much fun! I'll probably go 10 times before the weekend is over! Maybe I'll even get Nick to go with me :)

Tonight we went to Grandma and Grandpa's to carve pumpkins! The whole family came and we ate Navajo tacos and caramel apples. The boys had fun gutting all of the pumkins, while I stood in the background gagging! We carved Presley's pumpkin with a big "P"for Princess Presley Paige! I love Halloween so much and we love being together with our family.

After the baby shower we decided to go to the Benson Grist Mill Pumpkin Walk. They set it up every year with craft booths, face painting, awesome painted pumkins, games, hay rides,a hay maze, and food. We had fun with Lindsey, Nana, Grandma Barb, and Kenzie! We were in line to go on the horse drawn hay ride and we had to wait for the group in front of us, well that made my little princess so upset that she started screaming,"Come back horse!" at the top of her lungs! She wanted those horses to take her!We met up with my friend Brittany and Bentleigh to get their faces painted! It was a fun day and something will will do every year!

Yay! Presley is a big girl now! Well at least thats what we keep telling her. We have not had one night for 2 years where we have all slept through the night! I know, it's bad that she still sleeps in our bed, Supernanny would have Nick and I for lunch! I started it when she was born, I held her all night for the first month! I was (and still am) an overprtective mom, I worried that she would stop breathing or need me so it was just easy to keep her with me. Now it's Nick that thinks she needs to be with us! Well tonight is the night! We are all going to sleep in our own beds! I know our families are probably laughing, but we're gonna try it!

Wow!! I cannot believe it's our 6th Anniversary! I seriously have the best husband in the whole entire world! I know, everyone says that but it's true with me! He is the BEST! I don't know what I would do without him! He has the most patience of anyone I know, he'd have to to be married to me! I am so thankful he is the one I will be with forever! Along with having the best husband title, he's also the best daddy ever! I couldn't have imagined a better dad for my kids. He never left my side the entire 40 hours of labor and he even didn't know how to leave me once Presley was born! He does so many acts of kindness for me everyday I never worry about coming home to a mess, he always has the house cleaned and the beds made,He is such a hardworker at work and at home. It's the little things that make him so special to me! He always makes me laugh and have a better day if I'm stressed. We always have fun together no matter what we're doing! After a few dates with Nick I quickly learned that the fastest way to his heart is through his stomach! If I ever want to go shopping or something he wouldn't really want to do, all I have to do is feed him and he's ready to do anything I want! I know forsure that we are meant for each other and we'll be Together Forever! Happy Anniversary Babe!! Here's to 106 more!!

Today we took Presley to the Pankratz Pumpkin Patch so she could pick out her own pumpkin! It's been our little tradition ever since she was born. Nick had to go to St. George to meet with some doctors so Presley went to work with me all day. She is not at all a morning person (like her dad) so it took me a while just to pull her out of bed! Well we finally got there and got towork! Presley is always good for me when I'm working and being a mom at the same time! She stays busy coloring in her princess book and pretending to answer phone calls! We even took a lunch break and went to get pedicures! She is such a good little girl, "I love her this Much!"

Yesterday Nick had to go to work for a little while, so Presley and I stayed home and did laundry and played. Since it was a cold rainy day we didn't go outside and our trip to Gardner Village was cancelled. I was in the laundry room and I realized Presley wasn't in there helping me like usual. So I peeked in her toy room and there she was, with her Ariel high heels on, her purse around her arm, a baby doll on her hip, her pink cell phone between her shoulder and her ear, talking to Papa Todd, and to top it off she was typing on her barbie laptop! All I could do was laugh! I guess she watches me too much! My little Diva acts just like her mom!!

Life couldn't have blessed me more than the day Presley came into our lives. I never knew real joy until I heard her first cry. She is the center of our lives and we don't know what we did those years without her. She teaches Nick and I more than we think we teach her. Being a mom for the past 28 months has taught me more about life and LOVE than ever before! I'm not only blessed for being a mom but I am blessed for being Presley's mom! Hopefully soon, we can add another one into our little family who will bring us just as much happiness as she has! I'm so thankful to be a mom!!

Nick is pretty much obsessed with mowing our lawn! He is known around the neighborhood as the lawn freak! He wants our grass to look like a baseball field so he mows diamonds in the lawn! I like to joke and tell him that he has a serious problem! He has been known to mow 3 times in one week!! I can't complain! I'm really lucky that I have a husband who takes such great care of our yard!

So You Think You Can Dance!!

Today was so much fun! After I got off work I met my brother in law Matt at the E-Center to do press for the So You Think You Can Dance 2008 tour. He knew how much I loved the show, so he let me go with him to meet the dancers and do interviews with them! He's Awesome!! They were all so friendly and outgoing, so it made the interviews fun! I was so star struck!! Matt laughed at how in awe I was at them! After the interviews we had tickets to go to the show! Hillary, Matt and I had awesome seats and got to see all my favorite dances right in front of the stage! We even caught up with my friend Chelsie and her sister Whitnie! It was so much fun and definately a day I will never forget! Thanks Matt!

Nick has been drumming his whole life! When we were dating he would try to impress me by playing the drums to my favorite songs, so I guess it worked! He is so talented that he can turn his iPod and play to any song! When we were looking to buy a new house, every room had to be examined to see which one would be the future "drum room". Good thing we both loved the same house! That room was the selling point! Presley and I get our own personal concert every night, whether we like it or not! I think I'm either deaf or I've just gotten used to the noise! Presley LOVES it when her daddy plays, she is his backup dancer! He doesn't go a day without playing. I just hope our kids get his musical abilities! Love ya Babe!!

My Little Diva in Training

I have decided to start potty training! Girl's are easy right? Well, not when they need the royal treatment after EVERY trip to that potty! After getting some advice from my friends, the most common thing is "Give alot of praise and a reward." Ok I can do that! I went and bought a cute pink princess potty and got after it! Presley did pretty good! I was so excited and proud that I decided to reward her earlier than I should have! Her favorite thing to do is get a mani/pedi at the nail salon. So we went down and she got her fingers and toes painted, hot pink with lime green polka dots! She sat so still until they were dry and then she had to go around the salon and show everyone her pretty nails! Well needless to say she will only go on the potty now if she gets her nails painted! I know, I have created a Diva!!
