My Greatest Blessing calls me Mom

Life couldn't have blessed me more than the day Presley came into our lives. I never knew real joy until I heard her first cry. She is the center of our lives and we don't know what we did those years without her. She teaches Nick and I more than we think we teach her. Being a mom for the past 28 months has taught me more about life and LOVE than ever before! I'm not only blessed for being a mom but I am blessed for being Presley's mom! Hopefully soon, we can add another one into our little family who will bring us just as much happiness as she has! I'm so thankful to be a mom!!

Nick's #2 Favorite Hobby!!

Nick is pretty much obsessed with mowing our lawn! He is known around the neighborhood as the lawn freak! He wants our grass to look like a baseball field so he mows diamonds in the lawn! I like to joke and tell him that he has a serious problem! He has been known to mow 3 times in one week!! I can't complain! I'm really lucky that I have a husband who takes such great care of our yard!

So You Think You Can Dance!!

Today was so much fun! After I got off work I met my brother in law Matt at the E-Center to do press for the So You Think You Can Dance 2008 tour. He knew how much I loved the show, so he let me go with him to meet the dancers and do interviews with them! He's Awesome!! They were all so friendly and outgoing, so it made the interviews fun! I was so star struck!! Matt laughed at how in awe I was at them! After the interviews we had tickets to go to the show! Hillary, Matt and I had awesome seats and got to see all my favorite dances right in front of the stage! We even caught up with my friend Chelsie and her sister Whitnie! It was so much fun and definately a day I will never forget! Thanks Matt!

Where did Summer Go?

I cannot believe it's already Fall! Where did the Summer go? We are so busy with life so I decided to list what happened the past couple of months

*We finished our backyard!
*Presley turned 2 with a Hannah Montana bash
*I threw Hillary's Bridal shower
*Nick took me to the Colbie Calliat and John Mayer concert
*We went to Paramore and Jimmy Eat World concert
*Matt and Hillary got married June 7,2008 in the SLC temple! Best ceremony ever!
*Annual 4th of July BBQ's and Fireworks!
*Swimming at Deseret Peak
*Lagoon Day with Papa Todd's work
*Presley's 1st trip to the Zoo
*Nick got put in the Elder's Quorum Presidency! hahahahaha jk Babe!
*Many trips shopping at Gateway (our favorite place!)
*We had a Sha-Ronn reunion! so fun!!
*Daddy and Papa Brad built Presley's huge swingset!
*We started our Fun and CRAZY bunko group!
*A Girls luch at the Lion's House with all the cousins and aunts for Gma Barb's Bday
*The most intense, and competitive game of badmitton, Matt was the champ!
*I read all 4 Twilight books in 2 weeks.

*Days of 47 Rodeo
*Working in our yard

I love Summer so much and I'm sad to see it go, but we had fun, especially when we are Together!

My HOT Drummer!

Nick has been drumming his whole life! When we were dating he would try to impress me by playing the drums to my favorite songs, so I guess it worked! He is so talented that he can turn his iPod and play to any song! When we were looking to buy a new house, every room had to be examined to see which one would be the future "drum room". Good thing we both loved the same house! That room was the selling point! Presley and I get our own personal concert every night, whether we like it or not! I think I'm either deaf or I've just gotten used to the noise! Presley LOVES it when her daddy plays, she is his backup dancer! He doesn't go a day without playing. I just hope our kids get his musical abilities! Love ya Babe!!

My Little Diva in Training

I have decided to start potty training! Girl's are easy right? Well, not when they need the royal treatment after EVERY trip to that potty! After getting some advice from my friends, the most common thing is "Give alot of praise and a reward." Ok I can do that! I went and bought a cute pink princess potty and got after it! Presley did pretty good! I was so excited and proud that I decided to reward her earlier than I should have! Her favorite thing to do is get a mani/pedi at the nail salon. So we went down and she got her fingers and toes painted, hot pink with lime green polka dots! She sat so still until they were dry and then she had to go around the salon and show everyone her pretty nails! Well needless to say she will only go on the potty now if she gets her nails painted! I know, I have created a Diva!!

First day of Dance!

I always knew this day would come! Presley Loves to dance! (Of course she does, she gets it from her mama!) Everytime Nick plays the drums she puts on her own show! So she started lessons and is having a blast! She loves dancing with her friends, Mckynlie, Cede, Bentleigh, and Macee!

So I gave in..

So I finally caved and started a blog! After alot of swearing at my laptop and yelling to Nick for help, I think I've finally got it! Just be Patient with me, I'm no pro!
